Why Saint Raphael?

The story of St. Raphael is a Scriptural illustration of God sending His messenger to lead and heal a young man, named Tobit, as he made a very important journey in his life. Together they confront nature and evil in a manner directed towards the will of God and the good of the young man. It is a story of family, of vocation, of pilgrimage. God calls each of us to seek His help as we face similar challenges. For this reason we have chosen St. Raphael the Archangel as the patron of our practice. He represents the power of God's presence in our world-and especially in our individual needs. You may be facing family crises, or mental health challenges, disabilities, addiction, vocational anxiety, etc. We are here to help as ministers of God's grace and as professional counselors.
